Vines at the Window

Today's block, Vines at the Window, was hell to make. I think the pattern was wrong. If you look at the calendar, it shows 9 triangles crossing a subunit. Well the subunit is 5 1/2" and the triangles are 1 7/8" - I think the math is wrong somewhere because the first four subunits had to be scrapped. I ended up re-drafting it and paper piecing it with fewer triangles. I think it conveys the general idea, don't you? Even if it isn't a "true" reproduction of the calendar? The blue-green and the orange fabrics are both Eric Carle prints.

Don't forget to leave a comment and be entered for the 2nd Shnoodle! giveaway, drawing October 26th for the 300th block.
