Nina is wearing a dress by Rock and Republic which is, for a red carpet dress, relatively affordable. What I love about it is the design - it's very rare these days to see a little black dress of this style. It's classy and sophisticated but still age-appropriate. The black theme continues with the beautiful accessories, which add to the elegance of the look.

Nina hits the UK high street

In early June, Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder (stars of the hit TV show The Vampire Diaries) came to London to promote the series. They did appearances with Bliss, HMV, This Morning, among others, and of course couldn't leave without exploring some of what the London high street has to offer.

Nina Dobrev is pictured above shopping with her co-stars, holding a Miss Selfridge bag. Here is what she bought:

My favourite item is the "Light Tie Waist Chambray Shirt" but I can't help but love the leather jacket - it's so typical Nina. (We have a previous post on Nina Dobrev's love of leather jackets here).

I much prefer Miss Selfridge as their items are of similar prices, but in my opinion, much more worth it. They are cute and stylish, but they don't try too hard to be original like Topshop does a lot of the time. They have many stores abroad, but if it isn't in your country, don't worry - there is international shipping!

Obsession alert!

Fans of Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev (who plays Elena Gilbert in the show) will be aware that Nina has a huge obsession with beanies (or are they called berets?) Hats aren't my thing, but Nina definitely works them, and they really make her stand out.

Anyone who watches The CW's "The Vampire Diaries" must have noticed Elena Gilbert's (played by Nina Dobrev) obsession with leather.
