Holiday Leaves

I had big plans for progress on my reindeer today. Someone had a different idea about how I'd be using my hands:


After some snuggly kitten time, I was commandeered for cookie making. We must have some offerings for Santa, after all! With all the business of vacation, I nearly didn't get to my block today...


But here it is - Holiday Leaves. And done incorrectly, too! The center bit of applique should be turned 45 degrees. Oops! Still, those stripes look pretty snazzy. We are planning a quiet evening of animated Christmas specials and delicious holiday nibbles.
