I thought the color scheme in the calendar picture was a little busy, so I simplified it by using less colors more repetitively. I didn't read the name of the block until after I'd finished sewing, otherwise it would have been an ideal opportunity to try out the Valentine's color scheme I'm trying to perfect this month.
The Pickle was close by all night, offering helpful suggestions and making sure this piece of fabric didn't go anywhere. He's been especially clingy lately, and I think he's trying to edge out Maggie for Most Beloved Cat.
