August's Favourites

I don't have much time today, so this will be a brief entry. These are my August's Favourites. I've talked in other posts about them, so I'll only mention them and link back to the post in which I talked about them.

No tengo mucho tiempo hoy, así que esta va a ser una entrada cortita. Estos son mis elegidos para ser los favoritos de Agosto. Ya os he hablado de todos ellos en otros posts, así que simplemente los voy a mencionar y os pongo un link hacia el post en el que hablé de cada uno.

July's Favourites

And finally, here are my July's favourites (a bit late...):

Finalmente, aquí os dejo mis favoritos de Julio (un poquito tarde...):

1. Clarins Cleansing milk with Gentian. Combination or Oily Skin

I bought this because it was on sale (Cleansing milk + Toning lotion for 24€, I think...). Till today it was the best cleansing milk I'd tried, but today I've tried another product which I think is better (I'll write about it in a review another day, till then...it's a mistery which product it is).

It removes makeup and it's perfect if you have combo & sensitive skin, but it doesn't remove ALL the makeup. I mean, when I use the toning lotion some makeup is still on my face...

But, in spite of this, I like it, because it removes almost all makeup (but not all...) and it doesn't dry my skin or make it more oilier.

Compré esta leche porque estaba en oferta (Leche + Tónico por 24€, creo...). Hasta hoy era la mejor leche limpiadora que había probado, pero hoy he probado otro producto que me parece mejor (escribiré sobre él en otro post algún día de estos. Hasta entonces...es un misterio qué producto es).

Esta leche desmaquilla bastante bien y es perfecta si tienes la piel mixta y sensible como yo. Pero...no quita TODO el maquillaje. Quiero decir, cuando uso el tónico después aún queda maquillaje en mi cara...

Pero, a pesar de esto, me gusta bastante, porque el maquillaje lo quita casi todo y además ni seca mi piel ni hace que la tenga más grasienta.

2. Clarins Toning Lotion Alcohol-Free with Iris. Combinations or Oily Skin

I don't really know what to say about this product. I put it into July's favourite because I use it with the Cleansing milk, but it's a normal toning lotion...I don't think it's better or worse than others...In my opinion, you can find toning lotions like this cheaper.

No sé qué decir de este producto. Lo he metido dentro de los favoritos de Julio porque lo uso con la leche limpiadora, pero es un tónico normal y corriente...No creo que sea ni mejor ni peor que otros...En mi opinión, se pueden encontrar tónicos iguales que éste por menos dinero.

3. Essence Eclipse collection eyeshadows

I think I don't have to say anything about these eyeshadows here. I've talked about them in some posts before.

Creo que no tengo que hablar más de estas sombras aquí, porque ya escribí sobre ellas en varios posts anteriores.

4. The Body Shop Seaweed clarifying night treatment

About this product I only have to say that I use it before going to bed and when I weak up I have my face perfect, not that oily skin as before.

Sobre este producto sólo decir que lo uso antes de irme a la cama y por la mañana me levanto con la cara perfecta, nada de esa piel grasienta con la que me levantaba antes.

5. Bourjois Lipgloss Effect 3D Cosmic. 39 Rose utopic

I have this lipgloss for a long time now and I love it. It lasts forever and I use it almost always. It doesn't really give any colour to your lips. It's like a clear gloss with a light touch of colour almost impercetible and a bit of shimmer.

Hace mucho tiempo que tengo este gloss y es que me encanta. Me dura muchísimo a mí y eso que lo uso casi siempre. Realmente no aporta color a los labios. Es como un gloss transparente con un ligero toque de color casi imperceptible y con algo de shimmer.

June Favourites

It's time for June Favourites!
So here they are:

1. Sephora Color beauty kit! 5 in 1. I think I bought it in April, before my birthday as a self-present (I never have many presents for my birthday nor for Christmas, so...why not giving myself some? haha). I hadn't used it too much since this month, and I really like it. The colours are pigmented (they're not the best shadows I've tried) and there are a lot of shades, from blacks and browns to pinks and blues, etc. In total this palette has 50 eyeshadows, 10 lip glosses, and 5 blushes. I don't really like these lip glosses and blushes...the blushes aren't pigmented, and when I use them it's like I haven't used blush at all, and it's the same with lip glosses...maybe it's me, I'm not good at applying this kind of lip glosses, and not goot at all applying blushes :S. So what I really like about this palette are the eyeshadows, because there are a lot of colours and you can do a lot of looks with it. I also like the idea that it has an empty palette where you can put any of the 5 palettes to carry it in your bag, so it's perfect for travelling. But it's not perfect at all, because this empty palette don't close, I mean...if you put it in your bag it can open easily and then...what would happen with you shadows? I don't want to think about it haha.

Creo que esta paleta la compré en abril como auto-regalo de cumpleaños. Las sombras son bastante pigmentadas (aunque no son las mejores que he probad) y además tienes un montón de tonos entre los que elegir, desde tonos negros y marrones hasta tonos más vivos como los rosas o los azules. En total la paleta tiene 50 sombras de ojos, 10 glosses y 5 coloretes. Los coloretes y los glosses no me gustan mucho porque no aportan mucho color, aunque tal vez sea yo que no soy buena aplicando este tipo de glosses y para el colorete soy un desastre jaja. Así que lo que realmente me gusta de esta paleta son las sombras, por la gran gama de colores y porque pigmentan bien. Además me gusta la idea de que te venga una paleta vacía para que puedas llevar una de las paletas que te vienen en el bolso. Aunque no es del todo perfecto, porque no cierra. O sea, que lo metes en el bolso y se te abre y a saber como acaban las sombras, los glosses y el colorete...No quiero ni pensarlo jaja

2. Confessions of a concealaholic. I bought it early this month and...I'm in love with it. When it's off I would buy Erase paste, Boi-ing and That Gal in full size without doubt! Erase paste conceals perfect my under-eyes zone, and Boi-ing is perfect for the imperfections. And what to say about That Gal? I love this primer! It evens my skin tone perfectly and reduces my pores. I don't like too much eye bright...maybe it's my kit, but it's a bit hard and I have to press a lot with the brush...And Lemon Aid...it doesn't even my lids colour...I haven't tried it as an eyeshadow primer, because I use Too Faced shadow insurance.

Este kit lo compré a principios de mes y desde entonces lo uso diariamente. En cuanto se termine comprare el Erase paste, el Boi-ing y el That Gal en tamaño grande sin dudarlo. Erase paste cubre perfectamente la zona de debajo de los ojos, y el Boi-ing es perfecto para las imperfecciones. Y qué decir de That Gal, me ha encantado como primer, unifica el tono de piel y reduce los poros. No me gusta mucho el eye bright, aunque no sé si será mi kit o qué, pero es que es muy duro y me cuesta mucho agarrarlo con el pincelito que te viene...y el Lemon aid no unifica el tono del párpado, no lo he usado como primer para sombras aún porque tengo el Shadow insurance de Too Faced, pero no sé...no me ha convencido mucho como para comprarlo en tamaño normal.

3. Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzing powder. They are matte bronzing powder (or so it says in the package). Well, I don't really bother about this, but I know some people want matte bronzers instead of shimmering ones...It's the same for me, I like this bronzer because it's perfect for my skin shade. I'm very pale and all bronzers looks very dark on my face, but this gives me that 'healthy look'. And...I LOVE THE SMELL! It smells like chocolate!

Para empezar quiero decir que es un bronzer matte, aunque eso a mí no me importa, pero sé que hay gente que sí que le importa y que va buscando un bronzer sin shimmer. La verdad es que yo ni me había fijado en este hecho hasta que antes he leído en el packaging "matte bronzer" haha. Me gusta este bronzer porque es perfecto para mi tono de piel, que soy muy blanquita y la mayoría de los bronzers son muy oscuros para mí, y este da ese toque de "tono saludable".

4. Essence Cute as hell Blush 01 Wawawawooo. I love bright colours and this obviously is very bright. You have to be careful when applying it or you would look like Heidi haha. It's a very bright pink colour, but I love it.

Me encantan los colores vivos y éste obviamente lo es. Es un rosa muy vivo, pero si no tienes cuidado al aplicarlo vas a parecer Heidi jaja.

5. B·liv Off with those heads. I got this sample thanks to Ewwitsnikki's blog. I only had to send and e-mail with my address and after a few weeks I had it at home, and it really does what it says, it has reduced a lot my nose blackheads. They haven't disappeared, but indeed they are 'more invisible'...I don't know how to explain it, I hope you have understood it ^^.

Esta muestra la conseguí gracias al blog de Ewwitsnikki. Sólo tuve que enviar un mail con mi dirección y en unas semanas lo tuve en casa. Hace lo que dice, ha reducido los puntos negros de mi nariz (que es donde lo uso). No han desaparecido del todo, pero sí que son "más invisibles", así que estoy bastante contenta con este producto y tal vez me lo acabe comprando (aunque me parece un poco caro...).

6. Bobbi Brown Skin foundation SPF15 3.25 Cool Beige. I've talked about this foundation in another post, so I won't talk about it hear. I love it for summer, because it's a very light foundation but it covers perfectly my imperfections.

Ya he hablado de esta base en otro post así que no me voy a extender aquí. Me encanta para el verano porque es muy ligerita, pero cubre perfectamente las imperfecciones.

Favourite foundations

Now I'm going to talk you about my favourite foundations. Up till now I have three favourite foundations:

The foundation I like the most is this. MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF15 NW20. It hides perfectly all my imperfections and the shade is perfect for my skin. Obviously, with the great range of colours you have, it's almost impossible that you don't find your perfect shade.

I bought this foundation last year when I went to Bilbao (where I live there's no MAC store), and I use it almost everyday, and I think there's more than half a bottle left.

La que más me gusta de todas las bases que tengo es la MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF15 NW20, ya que da una covertura media y oculta perfectamente todas las imperfecciones. Además, el tono es perfecto para mi piel. Claro que con la amplia gama de colores que tienes para elegir...es casi imposible que no encuentres el tono perfecto.

La llevo usando desde que la compré el año pasado en Bilbao casi todos los días, y todavía me queda como más de medio bote.

The second one is Bobbi Brown Silk Foundation SPF15.
I can't tell you many things about this foundation because I bought it about half a month ago, and I've only used it 5 o 6 times. But I think this foundation is perfect for summer, because it provides a light coverage, although I don't recommend it for people with a lot of imperfections or rednesses, because it doesn't cover them. I fix this with concealer, because I don't have a lot of imperfections.
No puedo decir mucho de esta base porque la compré hace poco y la he usado pocas veces, pero me parece perfecta para el verano, ya que da una cobertura muy ligerita y parece como que no llevas nada. Pero no la recomiendo para gente con muchas imperfecciones o rojeces, porque no las cubre.

And finally BareMinerals SPF15 Foundation. I bought the Get Started Complexion Kit, and it came with two foundations. This in fairly light and another one in light.

I like this foundations because it covers my imperfections but you haved the feeling that you aren't wearing anything.

It's the first time I'm using a loose powder foundation, and after this I'm willing to try some more of other brands, because I'm sure this isn't the best loose powder foundation.

Bien, y finalmente tenemos BareMinerals SPF15 Foundation, que me venía en el Get Started Complexion Kit en dos tonos: fairly light y light (por cierto, yo no lo compré en Sephora porque me parece excesivo pagar 69€ por este kit...lo compré por internet y me salió por unos 40 y algo euros).

Esta base me gusta porque te da una covertura muy muy ligera, la sensación que te da es de no llevar nada, pero aún así cubre bastante bien todas las imperfecciones.

Esta es la primera vez que uso una base de polvos sueltos, así que después de esta experiencia estoy pensando en buscar alguna otra, porque de verdad que me encanta este tipo de bases.

May favourites

So here are my May Favourites. I'll start from left to right:

1. BareMinerals Original SPF15 Foundation. Last month I bought the Get Started Complexion Kit (Light), and I'm in love with this loose powder foundation. This is the first loose powder foundation that I've tried, and now I would like to try more. With this foundation you feel like if you weren't wearing anything on your face, but it covered all my imperfections.

Do you have any recommendation about any brand which have any loose powder foundation? I'd love to try more foundations like this.

Hace un mes compré el "Get Started Complexion Kit (Light)", y desde entonces estoy encantada con esta base de maquillaje. No es muy cubriente, pero oculta mis imperfecciones. Además es como si no llevases nada de maquillaje. Ahora estoy deseando probar más bases de maquillaje en este formato de polvos sueltos. Alguna sugerencia?

2. Shadow Insurance (Too Faced). This is the second eye pre-base that I use (the first was Urban Decay Primer Potion which I used once). I'm in love with this too. Before my eyeshadows didn't last long...but now my eyeshadows last all day without scratching (I think it is said this way...dunno, sorry for my bad English).

Es la segunda pre-base de ojos que pruebo (la primera fue la Primer Potion de Urban Decay) y me encanta. De antes las sombras no me duraban ni una hora puestas en condiciones, y ahora puedo pasarme todo el día sin un solo retoque!

3. Shooting Star (Too Faced). I like this eyeshadow because is like you had three eyeshadows in one. You cant use only the black colour, use the gold colour or mix it and have a black colour with gold tones.

Desde que vi el review que hizo Gadirroja en un video de youtube de este modelo de sombras de Too Faced, me quedé con las ganas de comprarme una. Y lo hice! Y me encanta, los dos colores mezclados hacen que parezca un negro con toques dorados que queda genial.

4. Celebutante (Benefit). I've bought it because I wanted to try something of Benefit, and I love everything in this kit. Maybe I would have preferred a blush (like Georgia, Coralista...) instead of Dallas one, but except of that...it's everything okay with this kit. I think I would buy more products of Benefit next time.

Quería probar algo de Benefit y me decidí por comprar este kit que trae más o menos un poquito de cada. Los labiales que trae me encantan, lo que menos me gusta es Dallas, porque prefería que trajese algún blush (tipo Georgia, Coralista...), pero ojo! Dallas también me gusta. Por lo demás me gusta bastante este kit y creo que me alguna cosa caerá este fin de semana de Benefit jaja.

5. Angels on bare skin (Lush). I have combination to oily skin, and with this cleanser I've noticed that my skin is a lot more equilibrated. But I have sensitive skin too, and this product hurted my cheeks, so I only apply it on my forehead, nose and chin.

Qué decir de esta limpiadora! (Piel de Ángel en castellano para quien no lo sepa). Desde que la uso noto la piel mucho mas equilibrada y con menos granitos. Eso sí, también tengo la piel algo sensible, y en las mejillas me va fatal, se me ponen todo rojas si lo uso continuado, así que he optado por usarlo solo en la frente, nariz y barbilla y me va genial.

6. L'Oreal Double Extension with serum re-activator. I've just bought it a few days ago but I think it will become my daily mascara. It lengthens and separate my lashes a lot. I will do a review about it next time.

La he comprado hace relativamente poco y sólo la he usado en una ocasión, pero me deja las pestañas separadas y alargadas y me ha gustado mucho el efecto. Creo que se va a convertir en la máscara que use diariamente.

7. Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur 135 Rose Bonbon. It's my favourite lipstick ever! It's very mositurizing and the colour is an amazing bright pink!

Recuerdo que este labial lo compré en Roma cuando fui con el instituto en 1º de Bachillerato y aún lo tengo (en buen estado jaja). Me encanta, es mi labial preferido. Lo único que me molesta es que es demasiado rosa para usarlo a diario jaja.

8. Sephora FACE Hydrating Balancing Cream - Combination to Oily Skin. I usually use it at night, and when I weak up my skin is perfect! Not oily skin anymore!

Y por último, pero no por eso lo menos importante, esta cremita para la piel mixta a grasa. Ahora la suelo usar por la noche (por el día uso Enzymion de Lush), y la verdad es que me van muy bien ambas. Con esta noto que ya no me levanto con la piel nada grasa, cuando de antes era una odisea...Y ahora me levanto con la piel normal, ni grasa ni seca, así que me va bastante bien.
