F-9: Autumn Aster - SUCCESS!

Alright, so for those of you that missed last week's disaster this my second attempt at this block, the first having ended in tragedy and water soluble thread.

I made these pieces like I do most, using freezer paper templates adhesive side down and turning the seam allowances ahead of time - there's a tutorial by the LizzieB Cre8ive people here. I was sure to use real white thread this time! I took another shot at fussy cutting my pieces like Flibbertigibbet Bunny - how cool is that?

So my totals are:
38 blocks
2 triangles
0 kites
657 pieces total!

**Edited to add: This is my first block for the F row, making it official - I have at least one block on every row (triangles not included)! Huzzah for tiny milestones!**
