Tonight's block is Teardrop Melons. I was torn between making sure the applique was placed perfectly and not making too many visible marks on the background fabric, and the latter won. As a result, they don't make the perfect circle they were supposed to. Patrick also said that the color values on the applique and background were similar enough that the error wasn't too obvious. On the plus side, I do like this stitch (I'm not sure what it's called) for machine applique. I think it adds a little something.
It's almost Thanksgiving! I am sooo excited. Me and the Pointer Sisters have an equal level of excitement right now. That's how excited I am.
