Today's quilt block is Navajo Block, a simple but evocative design. I thought the calendar picture had a few too many colors, so I tried to tone it down a little in the example I made.
Here's a picture of the gifts that Patrick brought me back from New Zealand: kiwi bird socks and four skeins of yard (a nod to the fact that sheep outnumber people there 13 to 1)! Isn't that sweet? He also brought back some beer and wine, and Christmas gifts for our 6 nieces and nephews.
