Bobbin

Today's block is Bobbin, made with the solids I used for this month's fabric exchange at the Washington Stars Quilt Guild. I don't normally keep solids, so I had to go buy these.

I ended up at the Ruby Street Quiltworks. It was a little out of the way, but they were so friendly and helpful! It was a nice change of pace, some of the quilt shops around here can be a little chippy with you, which is a bit odd considering you can stand outside their shop and throw a stone to the competition. But the gals at Ruby Street were very eager to help, kept a beautiful shop, and gave me a discount for my fabric exchange purchases! That's service and a half.
