Today's block, Hand Weave, took 21 minutes from fabric selection to photo. I know this because we were just getting up from a well-deserved night of TiVo and Buttermilk-Marinade Chicken cutlets to go to bed, when Patrick and I realized we hadn't made the block for today.
A look of shock and dismay was exchanged, then we hot-footed it to the Quiltorium. What you see is not our best work, to be sure. Look closely at the calendar picture - - see how they use half-square triangles with the stripey fabric to make it look like mitered corners? That would have been cool.
Sigh. I'm so ashamed of myself.
