Today's block is Water Mill, in which the calendar revisits a color scheme that I haven't really mastered: folksy Americana. The neutrals don't match the way I like and that red is a little too bright.
But, now that this block is finished I can unplug the iron and go downstairs and melt. We are expecting highs in the low 90s today and tomorrow, and I don't do heat. At all. As soon as the temperature goes over 70 I start to get miserable, so standing over an ironing board was not high on my to do list.
The cats, on the other hand, are as happy as two furry retirees in Boca Raton. They'll be expecting their Early Bird Specials around now...gotta go!
