I had a revelation while doing this quilt block. In the past for these types of blocks I have cut 16 quarter circles and 16 squares or cut 4 whole circles, then sliced them into 4 pieces and sewn them to 16 squares. This time I cut 4 squares and 4 circles, lined up the centers on both, then appliqued each circle to a square. I cut the finished pieces into fourths and all my pieces were made! This may seem very obvious to you, but to be fair, you just read what I wrote so of course it seems obvious now.
